AHA of
Indiana High Point Program
|
AHA of Indiana is initiating a high point
program to recognize members who get out and
show their Arabian and Arabian crosses at
events, enabling the public to see what
Arabians can do and encourage friendly
competition within our club. |
|
|
|
To be eligible, you must meet the following
criteria:
·
Be a member of AHA of Indiana (you don’t need to
be a voting member; ie member of Arabian Horse
Association)
·
Earn a minimum of 35 points in the division(s)
in which you nominated. Each division requires a
35 point minimum.
·
Ride or show an Arabian or Half Arabian horse
for your points to count in this program.
·
Pay the nomination fee of $10.00 for each
division entered.
·
Submit all points to the High Point Secretary
within 30 days of the show on the form supplied.
Points can be mailed or emailed. Points emailed
will get a confirmation of receipt. Points
not submitted within 30 days WILL NOT COUNT.
Point reporting is the Exhibitor’s
responsibility.
|
|
The program will be run as follows:
·
January 1st
to October 31st of the year, with all
points being due by November 10th.
·
If entries
warrant, we can split classes further in future
years.
·
To receive
points, you must be placed in the class. See
attached point chart for specific numbers. It
does not matter how many are in the class. The
points are the same whether you win a 1 horse
class or a 10 horse class. Championship class
points are doubled. See point chart for all
class types.
·
Donations are
always appreciated, and all money from entries
in the program will be used for that year’s
prizes.
·
Everyone getting
the minimum number of points will get something.
·
High point
standing will be listed on the AHA website and
updated on a regular basis.
